Clarity
Get honest about what matters, what’s working, and what you want next.
You’ve built the experience. You’ve put in the work. Now it’s about what you do with it.
YNX combines coaching, advising, and real-world perspective to help you recognize what’s next, prepare for it, and keep moving forward.
Your experience got you here. Let’s build on it.
20+ years leading teams across financial services, insurance, maritime operations, and environmental leadership, with a lifetime spent mentoring and coaching others toward their best.
My approach is rooted in you, the Mover. I coach leaders and executives navigating what’s next, whether that’s stepping into a bigger role, leading through change, working through a challenge, or figuring out what comes after success.
Helping people move forward has been part of my life long before I called it coaching. From mentoring young men without fathers in Atlanta to building community groups and a men’s collective in Northern California, I’ve always been drawn to helping people recognize their strengths, work through what’s standing in their way, and see what’s possible.
My own career has taken me through different industries, leadership roles, transitions, successes, and unexpected turns. Each chapter has shaped the perspective I bring to coaching today.
There’s a reason even the most accomplished athletes continue working with coaches throughout their careers. At a certain level, coaching isn’t about fixing something that’s wrong. It’s about having someone outside the moment who can help you see things differently, challenge your thinking, recognize what may be getting in your way, and get clear about where you want to go next. I believe the same is true in leadership and in our careers.
That’s why I coach. I want to see people succeed. I want to be there when something clicks, when a hurdle becomes manageable, or when a Mover sees a possibility they couldn’t see before. Your story and your strengths got you here. What you do with them next is yours, and I’m here to help you work through it.

Real people. Real conversations. Real growth. Together we make room to think clearly about where you are and where you want to go.
Get honest about what matters, what’s working, and what you want next.

Coaching is a personal decision, and it’s normal to have questions. Here are answers to some of the most common ones we hear.
Coaching isn’t only for when something is wrong. Sometimes doing well is exactly when you should think about what you want to build on, where you want to grow, and what you want your next chapter to look like.
Absolutely. You don’t have to be unhappy to want something different. Coaching can give you the space to explore what’s working, what may be missing, and what you want next.
Getting into management doesn’t mean you stop growing. Coaching can help you strengthen how you lead, communicate, make decisions, navigate challenges, and think intentionally about where you want your career to go from here.
Neither extreme. I’ll ask questions that help you think differently, but when perspective, experience, or practical advice could be helpful, I’ll bring that to the conversation too. The decisions are always yours.
That’s completely fine. Sometimes figuring out what you actually want is the work, and we can start there.
Coaching helps you uncover your own answers and determine your path forward, while mentoring and advising bring more direct perspective and experience to the conversation. Consulting typically focuses on providing solutions to a defined problem. YNX primarily uses coaching while incorporating perspective and practical guidance when it adds value.
You bring what’s important to you that day, and we work from there. Expect thoughtful questions, honest conversation, reflection, and a focus on leaving with greater clarity about what comes next.
We define what progress looks like together instead of assuming success looks the same for everyone. That might mean making a decision, changing a behavior, having a difficult conversation, taking action, or simply seeing something differently than you did before.
Yes. What you share during coaching is treated as confidential, with any applicable legal, safety, or agreed-upon exceptions discussed upfront, including situations where an employer sponsors the coaching.
You should feel comfortable being honest, challenged enough to think differently, and confident that your coach understands what you’re trying to accomplish. That’s one reason an initial conversation matters; it gives both of us an opportunity to see whether the relationship feels like the right fit.
Tell me what’s on your mind. I’ll receive your note and follow up with you directly.
